Time Lords were pseudo-immortal, and Cybermen were indeed made of sterner stuff than mortals. Magics... well, anything advanced enough could be considered "magic". A box that appeared out of nowhere, for example. And while she had rarely heard of planets being referred to as 'realms', she fully accepted the existence of other planets and life on those planets.
